Deuteronomy 6:6-7 – “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
A conversation about Christ can be one of the most vital yet intimidating chats parents can have with their children. The road to faith begins at home. While its every Christian parents desire to set their seed on the right path, finding inventive ways to start the conversation can be challenging.
As an author I find it my call and duty to bridge the gap between parent and child grandparent and grandchild and make the conversation about Jesus a little easier to begin.
Here Comes Sunday is my pilot effort in making the life of Christ tangible to every child’s understanding.
As Rylon goes through the motions of obeying his grandmother he learns along the way that his guidance is of God. Grandma knew best when she prepared him for Sunday morning service every Saturday evening.
Walking in obedience to authority set hm on the path to realize the spirit of Christ for himself.
Parents despite this crazy world’s distractions, never be afraid to stand up in Christ for your children.
A pure heart and conviction in faith sets the soil of your heart in perfect condition for God to honor your position as parents and grandparents and increase your voice and influence over those precious souls that are apart of you and God’s kingdom.
Be bold in faith and surrender your parenting efforts to God and watch him grant the increase.
Enjoy reading Here Comes Sunday!! And tell a friend.
